A Natural Way To Heal

There’s good news, bad news and better news when it comes to finding a way to get natural relief from aches and pains.
The good news: the human body contains certain systemic enzymes that work throughout the body to support the natural response to inflammation and overall joint health.
The bad news: age and strain decrease the body’s ability to produce enzymes.
The better news: the same enzymes the body produces – known as systemic enzymes – to trigger metabolic processes are also found in plants and other animals. That means you can supplement your diet with these natural enzymes.
Delivering a broad spectrum of highly active enzymes along with antioxidants, one such supplement, Wobenzym N, works throughout the entire body, supporting its natural response to inflammation.
New Orleans Saints fullback Heath Evans Athletes have long known that systemic enzymes are very effective for sports injuries and for helping the body cope with daily stresses. NFL veteran and New Orleans Saints fullback Heath Evans took the supplement to help his body’s inflammation response and elevate the repair process.
“Wobenzym N played a huge role in my workout efforts,” he says. “I’m definitely a believer because I was able to overcome a lot of aches and pains, and I’m convinced systemic enzymes are great for inflammation. I’m also a fan of it because there are no side effects such as stomach irritation.”
Wobenzym N is available at independent health food store retailers. Learn more at gardenoflife.com.

Inositol: The Fiber Recipe To Treat Cancer

Ingredients for Anti Cancer recipe: Inositol (also known as myoinositol) and IP6 (Inositol Hexakiphosphate). Hmmmm.
Have you ever tried to unravel a confusing web of research and marketing to decide what is true and what isn’t? Throw in a couple of names and molecules; add brown rice and strawberries; beat for 10 minutes and voila: you have this article! You also have an interesting group of molecules that are found in the fiber from seeds, nuts, beans and fruits. If you have cancer, especially breast cancer, prostate cancer, lung cancer or have smoked cigarettes and wish to avoid cancer, these molecules become VERY interesting.
Inositol is a molecule with six carbon atoms holding hands (sharing electrons) in a hexagonal ring shape. Each of these carbons can be associated with a phosphate group of atoms. IP6 is the same molecule associated with six phosphate groups, one for each carbon. These two molecules, IP6 and Inositol, are similar, but NOT the same; however, both molecules have been found in several separate studies to have anti-cancer properties.
A study published in 2006 by Stephen Lam and associates at the British Columbia Cancer Agency showed that Inositol (myoinositol) reversed the pre-cancerous cell condition known as bronchial dysplasia seen in smokers in a high percentage of the patients treated. The average systolic and diastolic blood pressures also dropped by 10mm. The maximum tolerated dose with these results was 9 grams (9000mg), twice daily.
Recent studies at Boston University, with help from the University of Utah, have revealed that the mechanism for this effect is probably an inhibition of the gene pathway, which leads to a high activity of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K).
It didn’t work for me, but I am hoping that learning all of these interesting new words will make you the life of the party at your next office get together! The main thing to note is that Inositol might be able to reverse the abnormal cells in smokers’ lungs before they turn into lung cancer.
The most prevalent form of Inositol in natural food fiber is the IP6 form, but there is much evidence to suggest that the combination of IP6 and Inositol, when taken together, can have an even stronger anti-cancer effect.
Recent research on mice has shown that IP6 may prevent prostatic cancer and can decrease the progression of prostatic cancer. Another study showed that the combination of IP6 and Inositol is beneficial to breast cancer patients receiving chemotherapy.
Most experts suggest taking IP6 and Inositol in a ratio of 4:1. The recommended dose for cancer patients is 6gms to 9gms total daily (that would be IP6 4800mg and Inositol 1200mg up to IP6 7200mg and Inositol 1800mg).
Combining Inositol with other vitamins that have extensive anti-cancer research (Vitamin D3 and Vitamin K2) might show even more promising results. Please consult your physician before using these products and take your references with you! As far as the office party…well, all I can say about that is…Cheers!
