The Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) announced that students from Paradise Valley High School won the 29-second Public Service Announcement contest sponsored by ACTE. The students, Joe Sandoval and Jacen Sievers, developed a PSA that will be used to market CTE Month during February 2011. ACTE unveiled the video on its website and played it during the General Session at ACTE’s annual convention in Las Vegas, Nevada last month.
The winners will receive a $750 prize and the school will receive one complimentary copy of Apple’s Final Cut Studio 2, a professional video-editing suite, which Apple donated for the contest.
