Thanks for TheTatumSunTimes/CITYSunTimes – it’s a great newspaper. We love the friendly, small community feel it has. You seem like family – especially with Courtney's column and Hope's editorials each month, they are like a glimpse into your family’s life. We look forward to every issue you send out and wish you the best of luck!

We are new to the Valley and want to thank you for your publication. We had subscribed to the Arizona Republic but cancelled our subscription. TheTatumSunTimes/ CITYSunTimes is informative about local issues and full of information that we have put to practical use. For example, we are planning on replacing the air conditioning unit in our home and found the article, “Keep Your Cool...” quite valuable.

My husband and I, each owners of a small business, were delighted to read your well-written piece on “the business of doing business.” We can certainly identify with every one of your sentiments, long ago having reluctantly decided that there will just NEVER be sufficient time to accomplish ALL the creative things we envisioned when our companies were first established. A pox on all those other balls swirling in the air.

I really enjoyed reading TheTatumSunTimes/ CITYSunTimes. Because I am a new resident to the Scottsdale area, I found it most helpful. I prefer to shop at locally owned and managed shops and restaurants, but often have a difficult time finding what I am looking for. Your paper helps a great deal.
I was surprised that this was the Inaugural Edition as it was put together so professionally and had interesting articles and listings of things to do. I most enjoyed the Eric Alexander article on the growth of the Northeast Valley and look forward to future articles by Steven P. Timmons on alternative medicine. Best of luck and keep up the good work. I am looking forward to more informative and helpful publications in the future.

It was such a ‘moment’ for me to read your editorial of your experience with the company to fix your deck. From the poor customer service coupled with failure to follow through and then rescued by a dedicated person introduced me to the theory that it happens to others besides myself! In an amazing way, your story made me part of a whole and equal to all. I don’t live in your area but love the newspaper. I look forward to it. Thank you for taking your time to connect the world with your words.

After a hard week at work I’d much rather pick up TheTatumSunTimes/CITYSunTimes than the New York Times or Arizona Republic! Thank you for putting out such a fantastic product. Congratulations on your recent anniversary – please keep up the great work!

Among all the community publications, yours is the most classy, as well as the most colorful. Keep up the great work!

On behalf of the Paradise Valley High School Baseball Booster Club, I send you and your staff a strong expression of appreciation for your support of our 4th Annual Golf Tournament, recently held at the Raven Golf Club. Your publication has not only helped us to publicize this event, but also allowed us to have space in your paper to thank all of our sponsors. Talk about being involved with our community. You are. In our score book, you hit a home run, and we appreciate it. Thanks for your total involvement.
– Stu Brackney, The VOICE of
Paradise Valley High School
All of us at Banner of Hope are sending you a kiss and hug today. I just received a call from a gentleman whose wife is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer. He saw the article in YOUR NEWSPAPER about our upcoming fundraising event, called me and bought a RUNWAY TABLE right then and there! We are so appreciative of your support as our media sponsor. It’s obvious the power of the press is alive and well! We will miss seeing you strutting down the runway again this year as we celebrate the lives of our breast cancer survivor models.

I was delighted when the first copy of TheTatumSunTimes/ CITYSunTimes was delivered to my door. Although it was quite small [at the time], I had no doubt that it would grow because the need for a regionalized newspaper has been proven. Since that time, it seems every issue has grown and with it the information, articles and local advertisers. I read the newspaper cover to cover each delivery. I use many of the local advertisers. Thanks for contributing so much to the community.
– Mary Bartlett, President, Arizona Retriever Rescue
I am happy I took the time to read TheTatumSunTimes/ CITYSunTimes in its entirety. Thank goodness I didn’t miss two articles that appeared in your paper this month. The first article was written by a 17-year-old with the insight and compassion of a much more “worldly” person. Carly Goldberg’s column “Valentine’s Day for the Single Soul” was touching, filled with compassion and understanding. I included her ideas about love in an e-mail to my children who happen to be single. I feel it will help to brighten their day. Thanks to Carly for her suggestions and her rare insight into people’s feelings. She is an outstanding young lady. Please convey my appreciation and gratitude to her. Her parents deserve recognition and praise, also! Now for the second article, written by a very special lady, Hope Ozer. She wrote about relationships and how they evolve through the years. Before I was even halfway through the article I developed a lump in my throat and tears started streaming down my cheeks. Could it be that I related to the ever-changing relationship she spoke of? Even now, as I write, the words are blurred because this talented lady has a way of touching the heart and pulling the strings. Congratulations for having two people on your staff that are filled with compassion and love – and have the ability to convey that to others, in writing. I love TheTatumSunTimes/ CITYSunTimes!
